Bethesda Youth Welfare Centre, Dimapur observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in collaboration with Ark Foundation Kohima and supported by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland with the theme, “Better Knowledge for Better Care” at Bethesda Rehabilitation Centre, Drop-In Centre Nagaland Gate on June 26. Relief material were also distributed the High Risk Groups homeless (HRGs). Meanwhile, another program was also observed at Bethesda TI Drop-In Centre Duncan and Bhandari DIC where relief materials were distributed to the HRGs at Bhandari DIC. 

The Socio Environment Management Board (SEMB) Aongza Ward, Mokokchung, placed 25 fabricated plastic waste bins within the ward in its endeavour to keep the ward clean and beautiful. The waste bins were dedicated in the presence of the Aongza Ward Local Authority and officials of Mokokchung Municipal Council on June 26. The SEMB members will be monitoring the collection and disposal of plastic wastes which shall be sent to the plastic recycling collection point maintained by the MMC.

 

The Seva Bharati Nagaland donated 15 Quintals of rice, 150 kgs of Dal, 100 Kgs of tea leaves and 200 masks towards District Resources Mobilization Team. The consignment was received from C. Ebou Chang President Seva Bharat Tuensang Unit by L Tochi Chang Co-Convenor District Resource Mobilization Team in the presence of Church leaders at TTBL Tuensang.
